  Anthony Cardoza  BIOGRAPHY

       Writer/Producer/Director

Anthony Cardoza has thirty years of experience in the entertainment industry.   He learned first hand knowledge of the motion picture industry by working as an associate producer with famous producer/director Edward D. Wood, Jr. Cardoza was cast in his first ever movie in a dual role, with a walk on bit, and as a dead body under a blanket directed by Wood,(which was shot at the "Silent Theatre" on Fairfax Street in Hollywood) The film was "Revenge Of The Dead" aka "Night Of The Ghouls", with  famous horror film heavy Tor Johnson. Cardoza starred as "Tony Cardoza" in a few films that are still playing internationally and continues to play small roles today just for the fun of it. Cardoza went on to become a film editor, production manager ,writer, producer, and director. He eventually became president of Global West Studios (formally Mary Pickford Charlie Chaplin Studios, now known as Occidental Studios, in Hollywood). Cardoza  literally turned a ghost studio into a bustling and thriving one, in just a few months. The studio hosted such films as "Terminator" (Arnold Schwarzenegger), "Runaway Train"(Jon Voight), "Once Bitten" (Lauren Hutton and the now famous box-office star, Jim Carrey), "Between Two Women" (Farrah Fawcett) and "Hotdog The Movie". The same studio that brought us the famous "Sesame Street" TV series. While Cardoza helmed the motion picture studio, music videos were also produced there with David Lee Roth, The Scorpions, Melissa Manchester, Smokey Robinson, The Pointers Sisters and a host of other performers.

Anthony Cardoza produced co-produced and/or directed many feature films and television shows over three decades. Some of his earlier movies were "Bigfoot", "Mafia Lady", "Outlaw Riders", "The Skydivers", "Red Zone Cuba", "The Beast Of Yucca Flats", "The Hellcats", " Inside Out, Upside Down", "Heated Vengeance" (In the Philippines and Thailand), "Crime Of Crimes", "Night Of The Ghouls" and "Final Curtain" (latter two as associate producer with Ed Wood). "Hellcats" and "Bigfoot" were listed in the yearly Oscar nominations, with the latter film ranking eleventh after "DR. Zhivago" and "The French Connection" on the Daily Variety's top grosses list, worldwide.

Cardoza's latest foray as producer/director, is the romantic comedy/actioner "Misfit Patrol" is the wackiest film to come along since the latest major Hollywood releases of current box-office hits "Charlies Angels", etc. "Misfit Patrol" stars two of Hollywood's funniest actors Dave Fuentes and Conrad Brooks, playing dumb cops. It also stars Hope Kelley, as an undercover agent in a Los Angeles high school and the prolific Australian actor Vernon Wells as the chief of police. You'll recognize him as the bad guy with the "Mohawk haircut" in the movie "Mad Max", with Mel Gibson.

"A prolific writer, producer and director, Anthony Cardoza has produced more than fifteen successful feature films under his own banner which have grossed multi-millions at the box-office, television, home video and streaming on the internet.
