MARK MITCHELL
Hollywood, CA. , "Misfit Patrol" , police
action/comedy movie is now available on home video. It
co-sponsored a 1998 Monte Carlo, #24 race car that would be driven
by veteran road-racer Mark Mitchell, in L.A.’s first
NASCAR sponsored stock car race through the streets of Los
Angeles, Sept 6, and 7, at Exposition Park, at USC and The
Los Angeles Coliseum.
NASCAR-superstar regulars: Mark Martin, Ken Schrader, Ron
Hornaday Jr. and Chad Little are also entered in the 200 mile
race. The track will be 1.4 miles around a road course that is
laid out on actual streets. Concrete barriers ( Long Beach style)
are being placed along the race route.
Mitchell, just raced in Canada with teammate John Morton, in a
sports car event. They wound up 13th in a hard fought battle.
Mitchell will be interviewed by Dave Fuentes along with motor
sports writing veteran Kay Presto, which will be seen on
"David Fuentes Show", on Sept. 2 , on Time Warner’s
cable channel 6 and 36.
"Misfit Patrol" stars Dave Fuentes, Conrad Brooks,
Hope Kelley, and Vernon Wells, of "Mad Max" and
"Road Warriors" fame. The action/comedy was produced and
directed by Anthony Cardoza, and is being released by ACE PIX
INTERNATIONAL INC.
