Background-  While growing up in the former Soviet Union, Tereza had a great interest in the performing arts.  As a teenager, she took classes in acting and mime.   Her interest prompted her parents to enroll her in the prestigious Soviet Film Academy. After completing a full four year curriculum, there, she continued further training at Armen Studios in her home town of Yerevan and then completed a two year internship at Mosfilm in Moscow.  As the soviet training system was very wide in scope, she got to learn all phases of film production, film history, theory, camera, sound, etc.  She decided to specialize in the areas of make-up, hair dressing and special effects.

After working over twenty years in European productions (two of her films have won awards at Cannes and Milan Film festival), she moved to the United States. She has been working here for the last nine years, and has recently become a proud U.S. citizen.

While she still works as a make-up and hair stylist ( now has done over forty U.S. productions), she has been doing increasing more work as camera operator, associate producer ("Las Vegas Striptease", "Deceit"), co-producer ("The Education Of  A Vampire") and production advisor on "Sunsplit" and "Legit". Tereza was also production co-coordinator on the Hi-Definition feature "Last Mountain", produced with the assistance of Sony Studios.  She has received great praise for her make-up work in the action comedy "Misfit Patrol". Many of the cast members have referred Tereza to do further work for their other productions.
