Jamie came on the motion picture industry scene over nineteen years
ago, started out with her father, who owned a string of theatres in
California, including the multi- screened theatres, across form
Disneyland, in Anaheim. Her major contributions were negotiating various
contracts, lease agreements, and held many exhibitions. Jamie went on to
become president of Empire Video Distribution, Inc. and subsequently,
American Empire Video Distributors. She was the founder of
"International Fashions", a vanguard fashion boutique store
catering to the entertainment industry. Some of her customers were Bette
Davis, Lance Burton, Jeff McBride, The Coasters, the Platters, plus many
other costume personnel who work with the studios.
Jamie attended U.C.L.A. for three years, majoring in Political
Science before she met Anthony Cardoza through a mutual friend. Jamie
and Anthony became close business associates. Jamie gained from Anthony
many skills and knowledge of the film industry, from production to
distribution .Jamie became executive producer of "Misfit
Patrol" in which Anthony is the
producer/director. She chose Charles "Buzz"
Beeler's (a Baltimore police officer) original screenplay "Brian's
Dilemma" and changed the title to more appropriate "Misfit
Patrol", which she picked from over two hundred
screenplays submitted to Anthony's office.
